Advancing NJ Economic Recovery by Reusing and Revitalizing Property

Steps To Advance New Jersey’s Economic Recovery: Reusing and Revitalizing Vacant, Abandoned, Urban Properties

Municipal officials from five New Jersey cities are participating in training this week aimed at turning vacant properties into new housing opportunities. The New Jersey cities -- Newark, Jersey City, Orange, Irvington, and Millville -- were selected due to their prior commitment to neighborhood revitalization strategies. ("NJ Officials to Attend Housing Conference at Harvard University"). The training is designed to foster the collaboration of governmental and non-profit leaders from around the country in developing and implementing strategies to make productive reuse and revitalization happen. The benefits from such redevelopment for New Jersey’s cities are increased property tax revenue, lower crime, and a more vibrant economy. The Law Office of Christopher D. Hopkins LLC has substantial experience in the redevelopment and revitalization of abandoned, underutilized properties. For more information please contact Christopher D. Hopkins, Esq. at (908)-322-6121 or at chris@ chopkinslaw.com.
